¡Cantaré! Community Concert 2013
¡Cantaré! is a unique program of the internationally-renowned chorus VocalEssence that brings the talents of composers from Mexico directly to Minnesota elementary schools, high schools and community organizations. Composers-in-residence Novelli Jurado and Gerardo Cárdenas work directly with their ensembles and singers, becoming familiar with them and writing new music specifically for each. At the end of the school year, the choruses present their world premieres in concert along with the VocalEssence Chorus. A family-friendly new music experience!
Tickets for the ¡Cantaré! Community Concert are free and will be available for pick up by April 1, 2013.
