1:30-3:00 PM
Hoversten Chapel at Augsburg College
2211 Riverside Avenue, Minneapolis

Join vocal activist Melanie DeMore and the Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities for an afternoon of singing, stick pounding, hand clapping and foot stomping, as she weaves the fibers of African American folk music with soulful ballads, spirituals and her own original music.

Transportation Options: Students coming on their own are encouraged to take the ACTC Shuttle Service.  Please consider coming early since space on the shuttle is limited.  If you are a professor who would like to bring an entire class, please contact Kimberly Meisten at kmeisten@vocalessence.org to discuss possible discounted bussing options.

This event is generously sponsored by the Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities

Tickets to February 9th VocalEssence Concert: All participants are invited to attend the VocalEssence WITNESS Stomp & Sing Concert on February 9th.  Student and youth tickets are half price plus transaction fees.
