Christopher Stroh, organist

Christopher Stroh serves as principal organist at The Basilica of Saint Mary in downtown Minneapolis. Christopher's formal studies in organ performance and liturgical music occurred at Saint John's University and Graduate School of Theology-Seminary as a student of Kim Kasling at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Other teachers have included Joanne Pearson, James Biery, Marilyn Biery, and David Jenkins. Chris maintains an active role in the life of the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, most recently as a member of the Executive Board, Class of 2009. He has been heard in recitals and recital series throughout the region and his solo performances have been aired multiple times on Minnesota Public Radio’s Pipedreams. In June 2008, Christopher was a featured performer in the world premiere of selections from The Minnesota Organ Book to audiences of the National Convention of the American Guild of Organists.
