VocalEssence Ensemble Singers featured on Prairie Home compilation shows in August, September 2010
The Ensemble Singers were back in the virtual spotlight on A Prairie Home Companion on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in a compliation program based on the theme "Lutherans: Sola Fide." They sang a piece called "Sign Up for Church Work." Listen to the show at:

Previously, the August 8, 2010 episode of A Prairie Home Companion featured the famous (or is it infamous?) story of the runaway choir that overthrew its conductor and departed the Lutheran Church basement for life on the road as rock stars. The segment was chosen by popular request from favorite shows of recent years. Brent Jones of Charlotte, North Carolina, wrote in with the request.
