Jennifer Baldwin Peden

Jennifer Baldwin Peden is an active singer/actor in the Twin Cities. Productions with Theatre de la Jeune Lune include Don Juan Giovanni, Figaro, Mefistofele, Carmen, Maria de Buenos Aires, and Carmina Burana, among others. At the Guthrie Theater, Jennifer has appeared in A Christmas Carol, Pirates of Penzance, and The Comedy of Errors. She has also participated in productions with the Minnesota Orchestra, Nautilus Music-Theater, Skylark Opera, the Great American History Theatre, Minnesota Opera, and the American Repertory Theatre. Her singing talents have been spotlighted in the film Drop Dead Gorgeous and in a Dutch animated film Jona/Tomberry that won the Grand Prix Canal at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France in 2005. Jennifer has also appeared as a featured guest on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion. She holds a bachelor of music degree from DePaul University and a master of music degree from the University of Minnesota. This is Jennifer’s first appearance with VocalEssence.
