Watch and learn from the host of The Splendid Table, Lynne Rossetto Kasper, as she prepares a special dinner for you in a private event space at Cooks of Crocus Hill in St. Paul.  Soak up Lynne’s insightful cooking tips and enjoy her hilarious anecdotes while you savor every bite of the menu and aevery sip of selected wines. Philip chimes in with musical entertainment between courses - including his amazing “name that composer” variations on a theme.  Limited to the first 30 guests. 

Cocktail Creations with Maria Jette

When not singing, Maria Jette is in her laboratory, experimenting with arcane ingredients, ice cubes, and a cocktail shaker.  Jette shares her hidden mixology talents when she whips up some libations and creative cocktails for eight people at the Brunelle home, complete with hors d’oeuvres and musical numbers with Philip and Maria. Discover (and sample!) some vintage recipes from the Golden Age of Cocktails: The Aviation, Gimlet (with homemade lime cordial) and Corpse Reviver #2; take a break from your usual Martini with James Bond’s favorite, The Vesper, shaken, not stirred, with Minnesota’s Prairie Organic vodka; and try Maria’s own creation,The Wolseley, which features Minnesota’s own Two Gingers Irish Whiskey and Wisconsin’s Bittercube Cherry-Vanilla bitters.

Learn from the masters as you head into the holiday season by creating cookie  with master bakers in the exclusive General Mills Test Kitchen! This option provides a rare hands on opportunity to make cookies in the Betty  Crocker Kitchens.  The group will be broken into 4-5 individual groups and each will prepare a different kind of cookies.  Not only will you learn new techniques from the experts, you will get to take home your beautiful handiwork  Afterwards the groups will do a cookie exchange, so they can take their creations home.   Children 6+ with adults are welcome, as well!   Limited to 25 guests.
