Anders Eckman, tenor

Tenor Anders Eckman, featured as Miguel in the world premiere of El Nino de los Andes,  is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College where he obtained a degree in political science and studied voice with Brian Ohnsorg and Nicholas Wayne. He is in his third season with VocalEssence and is enjoying his second season as a member of the Ensemble Singers. Anders was recently featured as a soloist in the world premiere of Kaddish: Music of Remembrance and Hope, a new work by composer Lawrence Siegel performed as part of the VocalEssence 40th Anniversary Season. Anders previously was a member and section leader of the Gustavus Choir and he currently performs with the Deviated Septet.
