Brock Metzger, tenor
An active soloist throughout the Twin Cities, tenor Brock Metzger is a member of the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers as well as the tenor soloist and section leader at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MN. Recent memorable solos with VocalEssence include “London” from Bolcom’s Songs of Innocence and of Experience, the role of the Soldier in the world premiere of Francis Grier’s The Passion of Jesus of Nazareth, and “Giuseppe” in The Most Happy Fella. He is featured as "Segundo (Maria’s Father)" in the world premiere of El Nino de los Andes. As a student, Brock sang with The St. Olaf Choir and earned a bachelor of arts in music with a concentration in management studies.
