The Ensemble Singers will be midway through the England Tour on the historic day of President Barack Obama's inauguration. This concert will be recorded for broadcast in the United States at 8 p.m. on classical Minnesota Public Radio, 99.5 FM in the Twin Cities. John Birge is traveling with VocalEssence to host the broadcast. The concert program will be adapted to include a patriotic hymn for the audience to sing along - with new lyrics written for the occasion by Garrison Keillor!

About the Venue
St. John's, Smith Square, in the heart of Westminster, is one of London's major concert venues and favourite historic buildings. Valued for its superb acoustic, it presents an extremely varied programme of classical music throughout the concert season, ranging from choirs and symphony orchestras to solo instrumental recitals. Built in 1728, and restored after damage in the Second World War, St. John's is one of the finest examples of English Baroque architecture and is considered a masterpiece of this style.
