Artistic Staff

Charles Kemper, pianist, has taught at St. Olaf College, Northwestern College and Bethel University, and is currently organist for Calvary Baptist Church in Roseville, MN.  A native of Houston, Texas, Charles made his debut with the Houston Symphony at the age of 17, playing Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto.

As the associate conductor of VocalEssence, Sigrid Johnson is affectionately known as “Ears” — for her unique skill in helping develop the choral blend and balance that give the VocalEssence Chorus and Ensemble Singers their signature sound.
