forces with twenty marimbas to
perform Gabrieli’s Magnificat á33—a
stunning work with 33 individual melodic voices, spread throughout the glorious
acoustic of the Cathedral of Saint Paul. Entitled Mallets & Melodies, this event, performed in conjunction with
the Marimba 2010 Festival & Convention, takes place on Friday, April
30, 2010 at 8 pm.

The 20th annual WITNESS performance will be a very special
celebration as the VocalEssence Chorus is joined by the acclaimed women’s vocal
ensemble Sweet Honey In The Rock®.
