Basilica of Saint Mary
The Basilica of Saint Mary is located at the corner of Hennepin Avenue and North 17th Street in Minneapolis, just north of the Walker Art Center and Loring Park.
From the East:
Take I-94 west to the Hennepin / Lyndale exit. Go north (right) on Lyndale/Hennepin and continue on Hennepin to North 17th Street.
From the West (via I-94):
Take I-94 east to the Lyndale Avenue exit towards Hennepin. Stay in the left lane and turn left. Follow Dunwoody Boulevard to North 17th Street.
From the West (via I-394):
Take I-394 east to the Dunwoody Boulevard exit. Turn right on Dunwoody Boulevard. Go straight ahead to North 17th Street.
From the South:
Take I-35W north and follow the I-94 West exit. Take the Hennepin/Lyndale exit. Go north (right) on Lyndale to Hennepin and continue on Hennepin to North 17th Street.
From the North:
Take I-35W south and follow the detour to I-94 west. Take the Hennepin/Lyndale exit. Go north (right) on Lyndale to Hennepin and continue on Hennepin to North 17th Street.
Free parking is available on the west side of the church in the parking lot under the freeway or street parking on North 17th Street. Free parking is also available in the Minneapolis Community & Technical College parking ramp up Hennepin Avenue from the church. From Hennepin, turn left on Laurel Avenue (also labeled Spruce Place), and the entrance to the ramp is around the bend on the north side of the ramp.
