Voz en Punto takes you on a musical journey through stunning harmonies and creative original arrangements in an evening that showcases the beauty and depth of Mexican music like never before.

• Voz en Punto founder, director, and baritone, José Galván, first came to Minnesota in 2013 as a composer-in-residence for ¡Cantaré!, a VocalEssence educational initiative that brings the talents of composers from Mexico into Minnesota classrooms.
• This is the second time Voz en Punto has traveled to Minnesota to perform in partnership with VocalEssence. Voz en Punto was a featured performer during the 2015-2016 season.
• Voz en Punto’s goal is to bring Mexico’s entire musical and cultural tradition into a cappella language. The group was recently awarded the Medal of Achievement in Arts in the discipline of music from the Congress of Mexico City for their career and contribution to the culture of the country’s capital.
