Mission
The VocalEssence Volunteer Organization (VEVO) introduces and engages people of all ages in the concerts and programs of VocalEssence while helping to support the musicians, staff and mission of VocalEssence.

VEVO provides a vital link between VocalEssence and the community to create meaningful learning and musical experiences through volunteering, providing opportunities to recognize individuals for their important volunteer contributions.

About
VocalEssence needs your support by becoming a volunteer. We are grateful for the volunteers that have been invaluable to VocalEssence throughout the years. 

We are always seeking volunteers to assist with our community engagement programs, the biennial Gala, concerts, and general administrative duties.

Why Volunteer
"On the national level, 60.8 million or 26.2 percent of Americans age 16 and older volunteered through organizations in 2007," according to the Volunteering in America report released by the Corporation for National and Community Service, and Minneapolis-St. Paul is ranked number one among large cities with a 39.3 % volunteer rate!

Make your time valuable: In a typical week, volunteers spend approximately 15 hours watching television, compared to 23 hours for non-volunteers. Nearly 61 million Americans volunteered in their communities in 2007 giving 8.1 billion hours of service worth more than $158 billion to America’s communities!
