 VOCALESSENCE CONCERT PAIRS ENSEMBLE SINGERS WITH FAMED U.K. BARITONE RODERICK WILLIAMS
Collaboration celebrated at England’s Three Choirs Festival last summer revisited at St. Michael-Albertville High School Performing Arts Center–Nov 14  

MINNEAPOLIS—September 12, 2025—VocalEssence will revisit its collaboration for Minnesota audiences with celebrated British baritone Roderick Williams OBE after a successful summer performance at the more than 300 year old Three Choirs Festival in England. The famed choral organization is presenting a concert performance at St. Michael-Albertville High School Performing Arts Center on November 14th.

We’re so proud to show off the youth of ‘choral country’ to Williams as the incredible concert choir from St. Michael-Albertville High School join us on stage. Choral music truly builds bridges across oceans—and generations—and keeping it vibrant brings VocalEssence so much joy.” 

The English baritone Roderick Williams is regarded in the U.K. as their finest baritone—and for good reason. His beautiful sound, elegant phrasing, and wonderful personality has endeared him to everyone who has heard him perform. During his time in Minnesota this November, in addition to his appearance with VocalEssence, he will be performing as artist-in-residence for the Schubert Club and will be a featured soloist with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. He is indeed an international star! 

The concert features Edvard Grieg’s magnificent Four Psalms, alongside works by American and British composers, performed by guest artist Roderick Williams, OBE, the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers, and the St. Michael-Albertville High School concert choir, with Joe Osowski and Philip Brunelle conducting. 

Ensemble Singers Featuring Roderick Williams will be performed on November 14, 2025, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, at St. Michael-Albertville High School Performing Arts Center, 5800 Jamison Ave NE, St. Michael, Minnesota. Individual tickets, $45, are available here.
