It looks like you have ticket(s) to Tales & Tunes this Saturday at 9:30 AM. Bravo! Read below for more information about this event.

Tales & Tunes

Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 9:30 AM
Larson Hall, American Swedish Institute, Minneapolis

What to expect

We will hear some wonderful stories—some familiar and some new—some will be sung and some will be read by acclaimed children’s book authors David LaRochelle and Mike Wohnoutka. Learn more about the event and what will happen in our WCCO interview.

Performers: Singers will include members of the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers, our highly-acclaimed chorus of professional singers, and members of the VocalEssence Singers Of This Age, our radically diverse choir for Twin Cites area high school students.

Crafts: There will be crafts available to create starting at 9 AM on Saturday.

Complete the Survey: After the event, there will be a brief survey for kids to complete (and get candy!), and you will receive an electronic survey in your inbox for adults to complete when you get home.

Clothes: There is no dress code for this event. Children and adults should wear what makes them the most comfortable, whether that is sweatpants, a super hero costume, or a princess dress.

Book Signing: David LaRochelle and Mike Wohnoutka will be signing books before the event starting at 9 am and after the event starting at 10:30. Feel free to purchase a new book or bring a favorite for them to sign.

More Information

Ticket services and will-call will open at the American Swedish Institute at 8:45 AM.
