Hear the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers in their triumphant return from the Three Choirs Festival and tour of England. Lauded by The Times of London as “polished, bright and brilliantly balanced,” the Ensemble Singers present a reprise of their festival performance. They join forces with the award-winning baritone, Roderick Williams, OBE, to present Edvard Grieg’s magnificent Four Psalms, alongside works by American and British composers. The highly-regarded Concert Choir from St. Michael-Albertville High School will also make a special appearance on this program.

THINGS TO KNOW

Roderick Williams is one of the UK’s most sought-after baritones who is comfortable performing repertoire from the baroque to world premieres. In addition, he is currently the Composer in Association of the BBC Singers.
Last July, the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers had the distinct honor of being the third American choir to perform at the Three Choirs Festival in Hereford, England, the longest-standing classical music festival in the world with it’s roots tracing back to the early 18th century.
The STMA Concert Choir is an advanced touring mixed choir for SATB voices in grades 10-12. The vocal music program in the STMA School District is comprised of a large cross section of students who represent every corner of their student population.
