Choral Pathways

Choral Pathways enriches the appreciation of choral music and the arts for older adults in assisted living homes across the Twin Cities metro area. More than 500 residents and community members have participated since 2012, attending VocalEssence concerts and exploring the legacies of the featured composers and artists. All of these activities are free of cost, and include free ADA accessible transportation to and from the performance venues. For more information about Choral Pathways, contact Robert Graham at robert@vocalessence.org.

Quotes from Program Participants

"The hospitality was outstanding, and their attention to dignity was huge. They showed our folks with handicap issues respect, they created accessibility… and they didn’t stick us in the back. The beauty of it all... people were raving about how beautiful it was on the bus as we headed home. It had the impact that VocalEssence would hope."

"It’s making a difference in my life right now, creating such a high for me. I can’t really talk about it because it is very emotional for me. We don’t get opportunities like this very often.  I have had this high feeling ever since this program....”
