VocalEssence is pulling out all the stops to ring in the season of wonder. Hear beloved carols you know and love featuring the joyous sounds of brass and percussion, the spectacular Northrop pipe organ, and—for the first time—all the VocalEssence singing forces together in concert. Bring your outdoor voice and join in a sing-along that will be sure to get you in the Christmas spirit.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION FOR NORTHROP

Plan to arrive early!
Northrop is located in the heart of a vibrant, active campus and other scheduled events often impact traffic and parking availability.

Accessibility Drop-off. To drop off a guest at an accessible, no elevation entrance, please follow the “Accessibility Drop-off” signs on the east side of Northrop. Take a right turn from Church Street at Lily Plaza (immediately before the Church Street Garage entrance) and consider arriving early to easily accommodate your drop-off, traffic, and parking needs.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • This concert marks the first time that ALL the VocalEssence ensembles will be performing at one concert.
  • The historic Northrop pipe organ is one of the last remaining concert-hall pipe organs in the United States. It has nearly 7,000 pipes—the largest of which is 32 feet tall, while the smallest is the size of a pencil. Click the button below to learn more about the Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ at Northrop.

  • VocalEssence has “welcomed Christmas” for over five decades but this is the first time we have celebrated the season at the newly renovated Northrop Auditorium.
