Given the extraordinary times in which we are living and working, the Board of Directors of VocalEssence pauses to acknowledge, celebrate, and express deep gratitude for the commitment of artistic and operational staff to the ongoing work of the organization. Beyond those pandemic issues common across all sectors of society, our work is further affected by concerns about the very nature of our art form and the unique health issues it may pose for singers, players, and audiences. Our staff are at the forefront of assuring our organization’s continuity and the continuity of our art in the midst of these unprecedented challenges. We are also deeply cognizant of their ongoing commitments to inclusion of all in this deepest, most personal, and most transcendent form of human expression and communication.

The Board of VocalEssence therefore proclaims on this day, July 8, 2020 its profound debt to the leadership and staff of VocalEssence and commits to the goal of doing everything possible to keep whole the singers, staff and leadership whose creativity, energy, and dedication sustain our shared aspirations and goals for a greater good through music. Despite uncertain times now and ahead, it is your outstanding achievements that assure our stability and our future.
