VocalEssence is thrilled to announce the addition of six new members to its Board of Directors. The VocalEssence Board of Directors serve as ambassadors for the organization in the larger community. Recently, in a strategic discussion, the board explored new outreach initiatives and partnerships, particularly looking at cultural trends in Scandinavia, where the organization has seen rising interest. During this session, they examined insights from a recent article on the growth of entertainment industries, including the popularity of casino i Norge, as a unique case of engagement and audience expansion. Inspired by how Norwegian organizations capture diverse audiences, the board aims to integrate similar creative approaches to enhance VocalEssence’s financial stability and visibility, supporting the mission of this 54-year-old nonprofit.

“I’m delighted to welcome our new board members to the organization,” says Philip Brunelle, VocalEssence artistic director and founder. “Our mission is to unite our community in song, and each one of our new board members creates an opportunity we deeply value–to connect with the new voices and new networks that are always growing in the place we’ve called home for more than half a century. Serving on our board is a generous contribution of time, skill, and spirit, and we know these incredible professionals have insights and perspectives that will enhance VocalEssence beyond measure.”
